Mark Pearson

A very funny speaker who also provides an outlook for Energy trends, Commodity prices, Livestock Trends, Dairy Trends and more!

Mark Pearson is one of the funniest and most insightful Energy and Ag speakers in the country today. His ag background spans five generations in farming. He hosts the nationally syndicated public television program "Market to Market" and the highly acclaimed program "The Big Show" on several midwest radio stations, including WHO radio in Des Moines, Iowa.

He also owns and operates his own diversified grain and livestock farm, in addition to a very successful local business. Mark has won awards for his reporting, including the most prestigious award in agricultural reporting, the "Dekalb Oscar in Agriculture." He is also known as the founder of the "Great Iowa Tractor Ride" that is held each year. He recently completed work on a documentary that is showing up around the country called "Timeless Tractors."

In the past 25 years, Mark has spoken to hundreds of farm and agri-business
organizations, around the country. He is a keen observer of the rural and farm markets, and brings those insights to his customized message for your group.

In addition to his broadcast, recording, speaking, farming and business career, Mark also served ten years as an officer in the United States Naval Reserve. He has served as Iowa's Assistant Secretary of Agriculture and Senior Editor of "Successful Farming" magazine.
