Tim Cavanagh
Comedy that hits home, but doesn't damage the furniture!
Laughing Matters. It Really Does. How important is laughter? Well, they say laughter is the best medicine. But they also say laughter is contagious. Hmmm. Comedian Tim Cavanagh may not shed any light on this apparent contradiction, but he's sure to make people laugh. Imagine your co-workers, clients and bosses getting together and laughing. Therapeutic? You bet!
A former religion teacher at an all-girls Catholic high school, Tim has over twenty five years of TV, radio, night club, and corporate experience. IBM, Quaker Oats, Farm Credit Services, Glaxo SmithKline, and General Electric are but a handful of his satisfied corporate clients. He even performed for a group from the Royal Bank of Canada, who said they had a "ton of fun." To this day Tim wonders if they might have been talking a metric ton, which would be even more than our American "ton of fun!"
When it comes to corporate shows, Tim does his homework, learning about each company/association and its issues and personalities. He then tailors his material to create a unique show that hits home for that particular audience. It's never a "canned" speech. It's a personalized, hands-on, unforgettably fun comedy experience. His clean, clever, upbeat, audience-involving style is perfect for any business gathering.
In addition to his corporate speaking, Tim has been featured on a prime-time ABC-TV comedy special, and has also appeared on Showtime, Comedy Central and Comcast. He is a regular guest and favorite performer on hundreds of radio programs across the country, most notably "The Bob & Tom Show," a syndicated radio program heard coast to coast. The legendary "Dr. Demento Show," BBC Radio 4, and "The Danny Bonaduce Show" have also played Tim's funny songs. And according to Danny Bonaduce, "Tim's the funniest guy in the world. He's so cute, you just want to kiss him."
