avid Naster's philosophy is simple, "You Just Have To Laugh." He should know. He has been a professional comedian/speaker for 25 years. David has made people laugh in all 50 States and has shared his humor in countries such as Mexico, England, Scotland, Canada, Paraguay and Brazil. David began cultivating his craft at an early age, making people laugh at sleepovers, birthday parties and all the way through high school as a class clown. While majoring in theater and psychology at the University of Kansas, David started taking the business of making people laugh more seriously. Immediately after college he launched his performing career. Before long, he was also teaching workshops in clowning and comedy on the national and international scene. David soon developed a reputation as one of the funniest guys in the country. He shared the comedy stage with such greats as Robin Williams, Billy Crystal, Eddie Murphy, Jay Leno and Garry Shandling while cultivating friendships with Rosanne, Jeff Foxworthy and Sinbad. David knew what made people laugh, but that wasn't enough. The psychologist in him wanted to know why they laughed-- and why they needed to. He began conducting hundreds of interviews with people who had gotten through life's toughest challenges by using the gift of laughter. He learned how humor could heal, motivate and inspire.
